Landscape designer Kate Gould scales Kilimanjaro for charity

Award-winning landscape designer Kate Gould - a regular exhibitor at Chelsea Flower Show - has, with her colleague, project manager Keith Chapman, climbed Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. The demanding trek took the intrepid pair five days, but the arduousness was worth it because they were raising funds for Perennial, the only charity that serves the needs of horticultural workers. The trip also proved inspirational for Kate on the plant front and she says she's looking forward to introducing new species into her designs.
