Thorndown launches new wood paint colours

Somerset-based Thorndown has launched its Heritage Collection of 18 new colours for its wood paint

Thorndown offers eco paint for wood ..and peel off paint for glass!

If you have wood that needs painting, Thorndown paints offer a water-based eco-friendly range of colours. And now there's the new Somerset Heritage Collection of 18 colours in muted, nature-inspired hues

Thorndown has unveiled its new Somerset Heritage Colour Collection of wood paints. It compliments the 48-strong core colour chart, adding soft tones of the natural world from muted stone to blues and greens of field and country.

Manufactured in the UK, the 18 new colours are made with ingredients selected to produce the best results with the lowest impact on the environment. Architectural exterior-grade VOC-free colour pigments are used so the paints can withstand whatever the weather throws at it, while colours won't be affected by even high levels of UV light. The wood paint is hard-wearing, water-repellent and ideal for use indoors and outside on everything from fences and planters and garden buildings.

Colour names are inspired by the Somerset countryside. Muted stone colours sit with Cow Parsley White, Meadowsweet cream, soft browns and a natural translucent green wood. The collection is completed with three blues and seven greens that 'take you on a journey through the wetlands of Somerset.'
