Timber festival back for its second year in the National Forest

Timber festival back for its second year in the National Forest

After the success of its inaugural festival last year, Timber returns in equally rumbustious form form its second run, again in the National Forest. Join artists, musicians, scientists and thinkers for a weekend that celebrates life and nature..especially forests.

Timber runs from 5-7 July

The National Forest is an ongoing environmental project that has seen the creation of forest over some 200 square miles across Derbyshire/Leicestershire/Staffordshire - land which had been among the least forested in Britain. The National Forest Company, which is leading the forestation project, and Wild Rumpus, producers of the Just So Festival in Cheshire, are the people behind Timber, a festival of wholesome nature-focused family fun in Feanedock, a 70-acre woodland site near Ashby de la Zouch. Festival runs 5-7 July 2019. * Timber is a not-for-profit festival with sustainability at its heart, focusing on how forests can transform lives for people around the world.
