Humblesticks is an upcycling furniture and lighting studio based in rural South Wales, borne out of a passion for Mid Century design and the belief that the age of mass production has already produced enough.

We restore and reinvent overlooked furniture and objects to create fun, fresh design with a distinctly 21st Century aesthetic - and a large dollop of humour wherever possible!

Dazzle Vintage Furniture
Dazzle Vintage Furniture is an online boutique founded in 2008 by Devon-based antiques dealers Ali Stokes and John Washbrook.

Specialising in European antique and vintage furniture with an emphasis on quality French pieces, the website stocks an ever-changing selection of armoires, French beds, buffets, mirrors and vintage lighting.

Ali and John visit France regularly, scouring brocantes and vide greniers in Provence and Brittany. They are passionate ambassadors for real French furniture and hope to inspire buyers to choose quality, time-honoured pieces over new cheaply-made, mass produced products.

Majeurs Chesterfield specialises in the expert restoration, repair and reupholstery of antique and vintage Chesterfield furniture; and it also makes new leather or fabric-covered Chesterfield sofas and chairs, working with small furniture makers in the UK.

Founder Demi Owoseje trained as a leather restorer and upholsterer and she and her team are able to repair pieces that may look beyond repair to the untrained eye.

Majeurs Chesterfield pieces can be found at Clarence House and at 10 Downing Street and it's fast becoming the go-to company for anyone looking for a new or restored Chesterfield; it also offers second-hand pieces that haven't been restored for customers who like the shabby chic or well-worn look of a vintage leather Chesterfield. You can also hire a sofa, for example if you need one for a film set.

phone: 0117 961 6471
Sustainable Kitchens specialises in building high quality, bespoke kitchens with minimal impact on the environment. We don't use MDF - we use traditional and sustainable materials, principally hardwoods such as PEFC-certified American white oak; while our clever low profile approach and simplicity in design allow us to keep our prices affordable without compromising on materials or build quality.

We offer a tailored design, build, installation and project management service and we recycle clients' existing kitchens via Freecycle.

Our kitchens are made to last for decades, however we do consider end of life issues and build our kitchens in a way that allows them to be easily disassembled and component parts recycled.

The Basement, 9 Selborne Road, Hove, BN3 3AJ
phone: 01273 499057

Modish Living is a family-run business specialising in beautiful British-made reclaimed wood furniture for your home.

Modish Living offers timeless and stylish designs that are robust, environmentally-friendly, and made to the dimensions you need.

Co-founder Hellen Barlow says Modish Living furniture is designed to work in country cottages or modern apartments. It sources wood mainly from the UK and timber is between 50 and 200 years old. Once it's been cleaned, sanded and de-nailed, it's given a natural wax finish and the rich patina of the wood shines through. A white limewash finish is also available on some pieces if you prefer the Scandinavian look.
