Cacao: whole fruit chocolate
Chocolate brand Artisan Du Chocolat has launched a bar of dark chocolate made from the entire cacao fruit, with no part of it discarded.
British luxury chocolate brand Artisan du Chocolat has launched the first chocolate bar in the UK market to be made with entire cacao fruit. Vegan friendly and additive free, the production of the Whole Fruit bar is hugely more sustainable than other processes used in chocolate making as none of the plant is wasted – seeds, pulp, skin all go into the chocolate. We've tasted a bar here at decomag and can vouch that it's absolutely delicious. Cacao fruits used are grown in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. £4.50 per 45g bar.
